Barge Rental          

Transportation of materials

$105./hr for the barge and operator. $15./hr each additional person. Minimum travel time of one hour applies.

Holding and septic tank pump-outs

Please note: There are several components to the cost of a pump-out. At the very least, you will need to allow for the barge's travel time, plus the pumping costs. Locating and uncovering buried tanks, and flushing as needed, may also need to be figured in. Costs are shown below. If the barge is requested, but upon arrival at your location, can not pump, barge travel time will still apply.

Barge travel time

$105./hr. Time is calculated based on round trip from C. & D. Barge Services to your location and back. Minimum travel time charge of $175. (includes two people) applies.

Locating and uncovering buried tanks


$50./hr.
       

Flushing tanks

$50./hr.        

Pumping Costs

Fewer than 1200 gallons $350. plus travel time as above.      
  Between 1200 and 2400 gallons $400. plus travel time as above.      
  Between 2400 and 4000 gallons $450. plus travel time as above

Marine Service and Repairs

We can handle repairs and sales for all makes and models of inboard and outboard motors.

Repair shop costs are $85./hr (plus applicable taxes) during marina business hours, and time and a half Sundays and after hours.

Mechanics are on duty Mondays - Fridays 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

We have 3 mechanics and 1 apprentice on staff, and a very large, very well-organized parts inventory for Johnson and Evinrude motors, including rebuilt propellors.

Water taxi fees

To anywhere on Clear or Stony Lakes. Depending on destination on the lake, usually between $12. and $24. one way (taxes included)

Please call ahead to ensure that we have a water taxi driver available when you arrive.

Store Inventory

We have snacks, pop, chocolate bars, chips and ice cream for when the 'munchies' attack. You can also pick up a copy of the Toronto Star or Globe and Mail here, or if you give us a few days notice, we'll be happy to arrange a copy of your favourite paper from home delivered to your cottage every day.

Our inventory is too great to list here, but some of the more popular items our customers have requested are:

    We are also an official dealer for the Canadian Hydrological Service marine charts.
